Compensating cables are the connection between thermal elements and the reference junction. The cables are made from replacement materials that are not
identical to the relevant thermal pairs. Compensating cables either have solid or stranded wires and are produced with various numbers of strands, covers and insulation.
Insulation is designed for short-term temperature peaks of up to 1,565°C. On request, we can also calibrate your resistance thermometer or thermal elements. Thermal elements and compensating cables are produced in accordance with national and international standards. They cover a very broad temperature range and can be individually configured using comprehensive accessories such as protective fittings and measuring equipment.
We have put together the range and color labels for the available thermal pairs in a PDF file.
